Molift Mover and Smart 150 Generation 1 vs Generation 2

In August 2025, Generation 2 products launched for the Molift Smart 150, Mover 180, Mover 205, and Mover 300. The primary improvement is enhanced battery performance and extended product lifetime.

Generation 1 models:

• Smart 150 and Mover 180: Silver with green stripe
• Mover 205 and Mover 300: Vanilla/beige, half-moon shape

Generation 2 models:

• All models use the same lithium-ion technology
• Rectangular design with red top

Generation 2 Smart 150 and Movers include the following features.

Upgraded lithium-ion battery technology
With modern lithium-ion battery technology the new generation of Molift lifts offers more than double the capacity and over three times the life expectancy compared to previous models. 

Additionally, they now come with a five-year warranty, an improvement from the current one-year warranty. With a life expectancy of 1,700 charging cycles, compared to the old version’s 500 cycles, the battery is built to last. The new battery is also lighter in weight (2 lbs.) and the same model is used for all new Molift lifts.

Increase of product lifetime
The upgraded lifts are even more durable and sustainable than the previous versions, with the expected product lifetime increased from 10 to 15 years.

Bluetooth connection to Molift Service Tool
The new lifts enable wireless Bluetooth access to Molift Service Tool to conduct service and access data on lift usage, lifting patterns etc.

New hand control
More robust and washable (IPX6) hand control with LED indicator for battery level, overload and service.
